YES supports the association „Rote Nasen Clowndocotors“

People laugh all over the world. It is a sign of dwindling vitality when they loose their laughter. A serious illness, a hospital stay or a painful therapy often overtax the emotional resilience of patients, both old and young.

Particularly in situations like this, humour and laughter pave the way to renewed optimism and vigour. With humour it is possible to view difficult life circumstances from a different point of view and reduce fear, pain and sadness.

The Red Noses Clowndoctors work in 20 children's hospitals in Austria with the goal of making the patients' stay more bearable. The residents of geriatric centres likewise receive much-needed motivation and encouragement. The Red Noses Clowndoctors also inject a dose of humour into the rehabilitation process of accident victims and brighten up the everyday routine of homes for the handicapped, mother-and-child homes, etc.

YES Austria recently carried out a customer survey and offered a reward for the participation. For this reason, we contacted the non-winning participants an proposed making a donation to the Red Noses Clowndoctors. In this way we want to ensure that people maintain the ability to laugh, even in the most difficult situations.

We would like to thank all participants that - after rounding off the amount - we are able to support the Red Noses Clowndoctors with 500 Euros for their work.
